MiniProject: Before & After Announcement Poster

So I'm back-briefly just to post my newest mini project in my Graphic Design class. We had to take some school announcements and create a poster for it so I chose AIDS WALK NY because it seemed like something more challenging and fun to do. 

Original Announcement:

CS OP: AIDS WALK NEW YORKThe 30th annual AIDS Walk New York will be held on Sunday, May 17th.  Millennium students are invited to join us for Afternoons at AWNY (AIDS Walk New York).
When: Every Tuesday starting February 24, from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.What: Help us with mailings for more than 35,000 AIDS Walk New York participants, assemble Walker Kits and team materials, and assist with special projects in preparation for AIDS Walk New York 2015.
Where: All activities will take place at the AIDS Walk New York office: 446 W 33rd St, 6th Floor, New York, NY 10001.

yea.... it is a lot of information and it looks kind of boring right?

So I started to make my poster and the first draft is below but brace yourselves.

So after learning more and looking at more examples. I transformed my poster to....
